This afternoon two friends and I went out canvassing against Amendment One. This is the amendment to the NC state constitution which says: "Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this state

Says the person who's literally on the front lines of the reproductive rights battle! Canvassing is easy; I don't know if I'd have the nerve to do what you do.

Canvassing is still action. So few people do more than blog.

I escort too, but only during 40 Days for Life, and our protestors are 100x more low-key than the ones you deal with. Ours just pray loud and try to give leaflets to the clients. Sometimes they pretend they're our frieeeeends and they caaaare about us, which is creepy. I watched 12th and Delaware and I don't know if I could handle that. I fear I would blow my stack, yell back at them and make things worse.

You could too! I won't pester you about it, I know it's not for everyone. But it's really much easier than it sounds. And they send people out in pairs so you don't have to do it alone.
