Love Story ...?

The August prompt for Writers Magazine is, simply, to write a 'love story'. Any ideas? I figured this would be a nice first go at a competition, and with such a universal theme I could easily resubmit the entry to other, less prestigious, journals. So love stories ... I decided to not to enter anything this month.

I have an elaborate plot planned out in my mind, though whether it will materialise is another question. Btw, Gazza, you wouldn't know when the deadline is for each competition? Is it the last day of each month?

It's usually 6-10 weeks. Haven't looked too closely at the last couple of issues though. Haven't found the time or been interested much in the prompts.
