I am so sick of being surrounded by these leftists who will believe anything they hear. Hardcore conservatives don't get as much media-play as the liberals do. I finally just had to start telling people I'm a Constitutionalist. I was a conservative / Republican once (except where the environment is concerned) and lost that, but could never go into the camp of liberal / Democrat...but I do fall squarely into the camp of pro-Constitution, and both major parties have a long history of abusing that document.
