Last Sunday some friends and I drove out to Hase (up in the mountains) to see how the leaves have begun to change color. It's something we can enjoy in autumn, you know. The mountains in Nagano are incredibly lush, as you can see.

As for green tea, it has less caffeine than coffee, but more than black tea. However, because the fermentation process causes all sorts of crazy interactions (scientific processes = "all sorts of crazy interactions",) green tea is far gentler than black tea in delivering its awesome caffeinated power. Since it is less fermented, it also has more anti-oxidants than black tea, which people attribute to all sorts of health benefits.
