When Bobby Kincaid is walking the slackline - a narrow, flat webbed rope
stretched between two anchor points - he offers a silent gift of beauty to the

Anyway congrats!

don't miss the train! The new story- with Christopher Marlowe- the boys went to Italy on the train. Verona and then Padua.

What is it about your characters and "self-destructism"?? At least Jesse-the-boxer saw the light eventually but I am not at all sure about Bob-the-Slackliner. He was really sweet but also really flaky. I think I need a follow-up story to make sure he finds a new job-lease-of-life-frame-of-mind while still hanging on to sweet/snarky/sarkastic Colin.

I loved Kathleen: her "matching accidents" were one of the highlights of the story.

you know how boys are! They don't listen, not to their moms, not to their nurses. I have been sneaking myself into stories lately, like my fictional characters need a bit more direct supervision!

I loved both main characters + Kathleen. Follow-up is the word!

Hi, Sarah!

I did manage to catch the train to Italy *and* download ''Slackline''!

Sorry for forgetting to come here sooner to tell you that it was another excellent story. I also liked the fact that I'm familiar with that corner of the world. I still remember a wonderful holiday on the Orkneys, passing by ferry near the Old Man of Hoy.

I liked both MC even though I could have killed Bobby, considering he didn't manage to kill himself even trying hard.

I do have a complaint: your stories always leave me wanting for more, and lately the phenomenon got even worse ;-). When are you going to write again something longer?

Thank you for writing!

Ciao

thanks for reading, my dear- and the next one is longer- Death of a Grievous Angel- it's very good, too. I read it over yesterday, before editing starts. I was really pleased. About 130 pages of so- 48,000 words.
