Awww. I wish I could have gone with you. I'm a restless soul too, and every spring I get itchy feet. It took me half a lifetime and a lot of moving around before I recognized the feeling as something seasonal and not just me being unsatisfied with my current living arrangements. I think the longest I've spent in one place is four years.....
four years seems about time to move- I've been driving around on the turquoise trail, going really fast down the steep grades and into those double s turns coming out of the mountains- man, that's fun!
This LJ-entry reads like a short story! Already the names of the places are special (Snake River, Albion, Bliss...). And the scene with the silent cow-boys! Well, I suppose that part of my fascination comes from the fact that I've never been to the States, still...
thanks- I think I'm going to be really happy in this job. Anything that keeps me driving the back roads of New Mexico must be good! I just have to figure out how to use that GPS dealie...
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case Iâll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!

Thank you so much for relating about your trip.
I wish you a good start with the new job!
