back to school....
that rocked.
break went well, but i spent most of the time being uncharacteristically tired. i would try to make myself get up after i got about 8 hours of sleep just to make sure i didn't feel like i wasted my day away and then guess what? all i could bring myself to do was sit on the couch for like 4 hours watching stupid shows and every once in awhile, taking a nap. seriously. i feel like such a lazy ass. i guess that's what i get for not working. i think i really need the whole routine thing for me to even get anything done. that and i seem to find my parents house unmotivating.
last night was a super good time. since i'm not going to be home tomorrow, mine and andy's anniversary, we went out yesterday. both of us being who we are and stuff, we had a unique experience. so much fun! so first we went to canada to the tunnel bbq and had ribs and got all gross. i'd never had ribs before so go new experience for me! on our way back we got scared by a guy with his rubber gloves standing in front of andy's car when we were coming back to the u.s. it was all good. no cavity searches for us. since andy paid for the ribs, i paid for everything else the rest of the night. that included a trip to royal oak to get gelato and then off to amc 30 to see meet the fockers. that movie was seriously hilarious. i love it.
today i sometimes get the feeling that i still smell like bbq even though i i've washed and showered a couple times since then.
oh and another thing. on thursday i got to go to the dentist. you'd think after the braces thing, i'd be kind of desensitized but no. i hate it. on top of that add the fact that i've never had a cavity or any serious work done. i'm just silly. but :-D look mom! no cavities at 21 1/2! my mother called me a modern miracle or something. i'm just not looking forward to summer....that's when the wisdom teeth are set to come out. yikes!
i got my books. missing two but that's ok i can get those later. its only up to $185 so far. that's freakin cheap. this has to be by far my cheapest year book wise. last sem i spent like $100 not countin the art stuff....and then now only about $250 when all is said and done. that total used to be a one semester total for me. yay!
plus today i got a chance to do some knitting. i'm such an old lady, but its so fun! i like it much more the crocheting. i'm very pumped cause my afghan is actually starting to look like it has a pattern to it. i had the hardest time for awhile trying to get knitting and purling and stuff...plus the whole left-handed thing. just complicated.
anyway i should get going. i'm actually happier to be back here than i thought i would be. its strange. i guess that's cause i've been by myself here all day...when the others arrive i may change my mind.
