I have no indie bookstores near me. Amazon is what I use often.

Thank goodness for Amazon. :) I believe Ed Cullen uses that a lot. Sometimes a ray of sunlight shoots through the bookstore windows and sets off his sparkling ... very embarrassing.

Amazon is a blessing!

heh Depending on if there are no book shops in Forks! Well if there was it'd be small, so yeah he would have to use Amazon at least sometimes to avoid bookshops in sunny areas!

I went last night to B&N and did, in fact, ask them to order it for me. Or reserve me a copy when the shipment came in. Or something. At any rate, nothing shall separate me from getting my copy of Dull Boy!

If you don't want to go to Amazon, any good bookstore should be able to special order you a copy from their American suppliers. It usually takes about 3-6 weeks, though.

Why must Australia be so far away from everything?

I was planning to hit (KRAK!) my local indie-- Joseph-Beth this weekend. And if they do not have it, I shall make them order it for me. I shall command it! In a very commandy voice!

LOL, thank you! You are very commanding; I know they won't dare cross you. ;)

Dude, I just went to Borders today and did not find it :( Unfortunately, I live in a zipcode where not even IndieBound can come up with an independent book store within 15 miles (Hell, it's almost 20 minutes to Borders), so I'll probably be ordering it instead.

Thanks for looking! Yeah, according to Borders.com it's not available in stores, which I'm bummed about, because the only bookstore anywhere near my hometown is a Borders, and I know my family was looking forward to grabbing it off the shelf. :(
