Thought you guys might like to see the list of nominations.
And yes, I will make sure the spelling mistakes are corrected.

I've also sent Rebecca and PAul a list with corrections, although I'm sure you won't need it :)

Ok, in that case I don't need to. As long as you corrected BOTH of the spelling mistakes in Brendon's name, that is! (if not, I DIE!)

Cool cool. Well, if Canty Idol gets a balls-up nomination for technical fumbling then surely Alice In Wonderland should have also gotten one for the half-hour delay in starting one night due to complications with the video projector. To which myself, Jeff, Brendan and Dan dutifully leaped onstage to attempt some improv to a largely pre-teens audience. Woooo.

Why is Cantabrian Idol nominated for Best Original Music?

What does the Physical Theatre award mean? Is that a new one?

I'm a bit gutted that the Lysistrata choruses (male and/or female) weren't nominated for the Best Team Performance award. Out of interest (no, I'm really not fussed about getting a nomination), hasn't the "Student" part of the Best Student Director award been added recently? It's just that I seem to recall non-students winning this award in the past. Jono Hodge, I think, for example. Actually, I guess it's a good thing to have the student bit there, so you can't just hire in some professional to make your club look good and win awards. (But for a small fee *I ( ... )

Yeah, Biggest Balls-Up was meant to be nominated by the clubs but wasn't, so we had to do it instead. I'm not sure if any of the judges were there on that night. I know that that's probably the only time you guys would *want* to win a Biggest Balls-Up award, so I'm sorry ( ... )

I don't know why Idol is down for best music - I don't think it's meant to be there, as I think the original music was all from Tween anyway. Sarah? Perhaps it was a transcribing error on Paul's part, we were all talking a little fast or all at once most of the night ( ... )

Everyone except Paul saw pretty much everything anyway! I actually saw everything (and have seen everything since I started uni, scarily. Which was why I was picked as a judge. That, and sleeping with the President).

Now that Idol's in there for best music and the list has been published, we should probably keep it in there even though it shouldn't be. I didn't really want to say it shouldn't be there, because then it will be obvious that it doesn't win. But I think that's obvious anyway... (shh!)

That's an impressive list, and for most of them I'm actually uncertain as to who will win.

On a purely selfish note, I didn't get nominated for ANYTHING?

Ah well, I get to organise the awards ceremony. I'll dominate the stage with a giant effigy of my head!
