Middle-Age Crisis, Or My Life Is A Cautionary Tale

The Spanish proverb says, “Take what you want - and pay for it, says God.”

I have taken what I wanted (craved?): a life without confrontation, without risk, without hard work, and without hardship.

And I’ve paid for it, in the absence of achievements that mean anything to me.
