Surgeon's visit today; more news, more waiting

I had my follow up visit with my fabulous surgeon today. He took out the drains! Woot! He gave me permission to drive (as long as I'm not on the Vicodin he prescribed)! He gave me permission to travel! His nurse took off the dressing and showed me what was underneath

This is where I am right now. Stage 3 ++- cancer they just chopped out of me. As soon as I heal I start chemo. The only difference is that I am currently a year since my last period. I missed hearing that yours came back gunning for you. Do you still post here at all, privately perhaps?
