To celebrate Canada Day I spent the entire afternoon and evening in the sewing room. I am so happy to have my sewing mojo back. :)

I borrowed the book Applique Delights from our quilt guild for the summer and attempted my first NON-fusible appliqué project(needle turn hand stitched). It is really fun, and rewarding. I love the folk-art quality of ( Read more... )

thanks. this was a very rewarding project and i'm very surprised that it took such a little amount of time, it was one complete day from morning till night, but still that is fast for a quilting project. i want to try a few other designs in the book.
