you know, they keep blaming the gas shortages on the rising prices. If there was really a shortage of gas, it would be the same price, there would just be none at the pumps. I can still get gas as readily as I could a year ago. I think it's all bullshit personally. I should really sell my car and just move into the city. Anyone wanna buy a ( Read more... )

It's not a shortage per se. Supply and demand.

on the canadian news they're calling it a shortage, that the us is short 1/4 its usual quota...either way, i think i want to sell my car and move into the city...

But seriously, moving intot he city, which means you will start paying rent, have to rely on a transit system that will no doubtedly raise it's fare soon because of the gas, the fact that it's on it's own schedule, not yours is enough to not want to go. I say it's better off where we live, just buy a bike or something, I'm going to soup up my golf cart and ride that baby to work :P
