I've decided that I want to design and put up my own web page, and I want it to be for the sale of my knitting stuff.  I've started designing some patterns and I want to sell those as well as other finished items.  I also have some cross stitch stuff I've designed that I can put up there which would be fun I think.  I'm in the process of installing

Hey if all you want to do is sell your stuff, why not just eBay?

because they want a crap load of money to post small items. If you're selling a pattern for $2-3 bucks (won't get more than that for it) and it ships electronically you can't charge shipping, and then you're out money with the fees. Better to have my own site.
