I'd never really thought of it before, but how do you think Clyde feels about how Haresh feels about him?
I mean, we all know Clyde is incredible, but Haresh doesn't. While Haresh may not think as lowly of Clyde as he once did, I still don't think he's impressed? When's the last time he expressed disapproval of Rani's association with Clyde, btw? I was just thinking of how much he wanted he wanted to impress his dad and how much he was hurt by his friends' rejections during that business. He doeswant to be thought well of, I think. He's a better man than his father, and I do think he wants the world to know that. Now, Haresh is not his father, not his family, not his dear friend. They aren't close. But I was just thinking that after Clyde and Rani start dating officially, he might be bothered by Haresh's view of him - even if he pretended not to be. I was thinking he'd probably want Haresh to respect him, think well of him, etc. Because I think he does want people to think well of him, even if he doesn't always admit it. And while he and Haresh aren't close, he'd matter more simply by virtue of being Rani's father?
