who knows new york?

anyone have any recommendations for decent hotels in NYC? My fam is going in August for a Yanks game so something near the mass transit would be preferrable.

It's funny that since I live near the city I know so little about hotels there. My family usually stays at the Sheraton near Times Sq, but they have money to burn. I remember seeing something about a place called Hotel QT which is lower priced (by someone's standard) in times sq than most of the other hotels.

Wait, what weekend? My family is going to a Yankees game in August (the 16th I think) too!
