I'm sitting in my little chambre in southern France right now, awaiting later this week when I start assistant-teaching in a middle school "qui a l'air assez sympa." A bit nervous--I've never felt I had the gift of teaching and I haven't prepared/brought ANYTHING to present to these kids... I'm sure I could use any advice you, with your experiences, might have for a poor goon like me! In any case, I've been thinking a lot about my first time in France, and missing you and the girls and our silly fetes! I really had a great semester with you all. The other assistants I've met here are not you guys, but they're pretty cool all the same and I think we'll get along well.
Anyway just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you! Congrats again on your job and your house!!
