Ashes to Ashes: Not as good as Life on Mars (lack of John Simm is evidence of this), but quite enjoyable.
By the way, did you hear about the US remake finale? RIDICULOUS TO THE POINT OF HILARITY.

It fills me with glee for some reason, because it's EPIC FAIL!!
Reducing what they thought was a predominantly serious drama - if you wanted that, why don't you just watch the original? - to the level of a parody, a farce, something I'd think up if I was with my friends, it was late at night and we'd just had too many glasses of red cordial.
I say again:

I hope it left people going, "What the hell? That was crap", because I'd say, "Well, that's what you get for WATCHING IT, and your DISGUST is what the REMAKERS get for REMAKING IT, suckers!!! You should have left a good thing alone, but NO!!!!"

EXACTLY. The writers were probably on something when they worked on that episode. EPIC FAIL IS EPIC.
People would probably go for the UK original after watching that crap, so it's a win for us!
