this is the first time I've assembled anything by machine that is entirely silk (lining, outside, and interlinings) with silk friend. what a dream! I can't get over how nice it feels!

it is a really, really lovely silk. it feels good to use nice fabrics, especially since I put so much time into everything I make.

Ooh, pretty! I'm impressed by your ability to squeeze out a corset from such a minimal amount of fabric.

oh, I'm all about cutting it close. I *never* manage to buy enough fabric for a project. if the pattern calls for 5 yards, I will seriously buy 4.5 and think to myself "I can make it work" but then end up having to fudge the pattern a bit to fit all the pieces in. sigh.
