My grandmother apparently had three kidneys. I think this ended up being a very good thing, as I think two were removed. She was an interesting medical case all around :)

And you're right--you need a muff!

gosh, that's weird! but fortunate in the long run I guess!

I do need a muff. but first I need fabric for a muff which will require me to make a choice about colors. which will lead to much procrastination.

probably later this week, when I have even more things to photograph! I have no idea where I got this burst of energy.

...off to pound some grommets!

Oh my god...do you have any idea how hard "accessory spleen" made me laugh?

I'm sure that woman is miserable, bless her heart, but damn- that is funny.

Now how can I work this term into a conversation today...?

I'm glad you're not the only one who found that funny. Because, seriously, as my preceptor said: "what the F is an accessory spleen?"

she's not miserable at all! that was the weird thing about it. the only thing that's distressing her is that her shoulders were uneven, and she didn't notice it until it "ruined" her wedding photos.

let me know if you're able to use it in conversation - I'd love to hear what the context would be!

I was like "WTH is an 'accessory spleen'" and once I figured it out, I was disturbed and intrigued in equal parts. Weird!!!

Go you, with all the productivity!
