It's a whole lot easier to clean as you go. Little jobs stay little. Procrastination results in little jobs becoming bigger jobs that eventually become himalayan tasks requiring the U.S. Army Corps of engineers, sherpas, and a huge pay-off -- like dinner out or a big bottle of wine. I managed to do 2 loads of laundry last night- which is a start.
Today, we had a guest lecturer from 8:30 until 3, after which I took a group fiddle lesson with him until 4 and recorded music in the studio until 6:45. Falkerise Spelemannslag rehearsal followed at 7, annd I've just now gotten home at 9 to make dinner. It looks like I'll be getting to the dentist's today around 11PM for a midnight cleaning!

(Can you tell I'm related to Mom?)

Where/for how long will you be in the US?
