Yeah, I'm looking forward to a little boy. That's what I thought I would have ever since I found out I was pregnant, so I'm already used to thinking of the baby as "he".
So perhaps you would know the answer to this: Do good, normal Scandinavian boys names exist? My husband is on a quest to find one and (in my opinion) has not been too successful yet ;)
*lol* Yes! There is one! Erik. Ummm. . and that's it.
No, seriously. David is fairly common. Mikael with a nickname Mike is extremely popular. I love the name Kai (rhymes with sky), but maybe that is too weird for you. Max and Anders are both pretty popular. I like Magnus, but I guess that one is pretty weird. Simon, Johan or Johannes. And of course there's always Thor! *lol*. Then there's the kingly Karl.
I'll let you know if I think of anything else. It was very difficult for us to come up with a Scandinavian name that we both liked and that wasn't really weird. No way would I name my kid Bjorn or Oskar or Steg or Sven.

PS. Love Oskar. Wanted to name Sam Oscar. (Only I was thinking about Mexican babies, not Scandinavian ones.) Also love Gunnar.
