so im in seattle now after quite a tour with luke's band, fall city shakedown. it went down like this:

tuesday, june 20th. we were expecting the band (robert, brant, scott and lucas, plus robert's girlfriend jessica) to arrive that evening at my parent's house.

wednesday, june 21st. the band arrives at 4:30am. i slept a little before they got

Do you have any idea how incredibly awesome your profit is? Do you!? All of that and you made a dollar! That is so cool! Just think what a great experience you had and what a great starting out story that makes! And all that work and stuff for one dollar!!! THAT ROCKS! I bet you think I'm being sarcastic, but I'm totally not! I mean it! You guys didn't end up having lost money, so that's sweet, and because your monetary gains were so low, you can focus on the emotional gains you made, as well as the gains in experience. Also, because there was no monetary gain, you can get a better idea as to whether or not you want to keep working in this bussiness simply looking at how well you enjoy the experience. And this goes particularly for you my dear, though it pertains to the rest of the band as well. Because you are so unsure about what you want in life, not having made a profit gaurantees that you see the 'darker' sides of this bussiness, denying you the cash bonus at the end. And keep in mind that in a few months you will be able to go

yeah, it is quite exciting. $1 sounds lame, but its awesome that we actually made enough to pay for the van! the money for gas came out of our own pockets, but thats the sacrafice we made in going on tour in the first place. thanks for your words, though. they are encouraging. sorry we couldnt hang out in oakland or LA, but maybe sometime soon. hope youre having a great time in LA! dont worry... i'll be back after summer's over, as far as i can tell. ;)
