To Parliament Hill and back

Today my dad and I biked from our house in Orleans along the Ottawa River and the Rockcliffe Parkway to the Parliament Buildings. We stopped to take pictures at 24 Sussex drive and at the National Art Gallery overlooking Parliament Hill. Wow. Lots of biking lately.

You should buy a bike in Seattle and try to bike to work everyday. You'd save a lot of money and keep yourself in tip-top shape.

My current plan is to take the bus to work and then walk home some evenings, depending on the distance to my place. I think I'd be too nervous to bike the downtown Seattle streets. Plus there's the whole arriving to work sweaty thing which I want to avoid :P The in-shape part is appealing though. :)

Bonuses - you can put your bike on the bus (though this gets tricky with the ride free zone - you just have to be careful), and the building has shower / changing facilities with (I think) towel service...
