I Might Actually Kill Someone. Bet I Could Plead Temporary Insanity.

So it's 2am. And where am I? Not on a flight to Scotland, that's where.

My flight from Florida got rerouted because of weather, so we had to stop in Baltimore - even though we were already flying over Newark when they rerouted us. We didn't get into Newark until nearly midnight. My flight from Florida had left at 6 - that's right, six hours to get ( Read more... )

My bags are supposedly at the airport in some overnight hold they have for these types of situations. But I don't exactly believe them.

I'm going to shower and see what time I'll be getting into the city. Let you know if I'll be in midtown!

If you haven't left by the time you read this, you should definitely file a complaint. And by "complaint" I mean, "call customer service and bitch them out". If you make enough of a (justified) fuss, they'll almost definitely give you some sort of compensation.

Cause yeah, that's fucking ridiculous. I hate dealing with travel people; I know they're stressed and all because people can't stand them, but it's no excuse for being a complete asshole.

Ugh it took forever! I still can't believe I got to the airport in Florida at 3 in the afternoon on a Wednesday, and didn't get to Scotland until Friday morning.

My mom called them to yell and got a complaint file started for me. They sent me a food voucher, which frankly, in no way makes up for the trouble and expense. I hate airlines. They're all such douches.

That is so massively fucked up!!

Complain loud and long until they give you more than just a stupid food voucher to make up for the terrible way they treated you.

Seriously. I mean, I understand of course a weather delay isn't their fault but rudeness and assholeness is. I am going to complain more, but I don't think I'm going to get anything out of it. We'll see what happens.
