Sarah - you always make me want more more more and I cannot wait for the next one, judging by the suspenseful way you built this chapter up.
Poor Noah and Reid trapped in mind and body by the awful adults raising them :-(
Thank god they found one another and had a few stolen moments of heaven.
He was lost. He was found. My heart literally sighed at these words.
Loved the build up to them sharing a kiss. I can see how Reid let never seeing Noah again or any explanation affect all his adult life and relationships.
But now, now thought they meet again.....and I can't wait to find out what happens next!!
"However, he didn’t think Noah had ever been a child in the full sense of the word, and neither had he."
And there it is. That perfectly and succinctly expresses why Neid works so well for me(whether as lovers or just as friends).
The memory to their brief time together was exquisitely written, packed with rich detail and bittersweet emotion.
And you've added an air of mystery concerning how exactly Noah has become blind. I'm intrigued!
Sarah, you're absolutely incapable of writing anything that isn't complete perfection! Thanks for making time in your busy schedule to compose this gem for us!
Ah Sarah! This was simply wonderful! I do wish you would write more.
I was so carried along with your words that you made me feel a real empathy for young Reid - how he was so alone, used for his uncle's financial gain, only to find a safe haven at the park and to find someone to share that with only to have it taken away as quickly as it began. No wonder he turned into the Reid of later years.
Oh my GAWD! SARAH. You are going to have to update more than once every year-and-a-half. Because I will die if you don't, and do you really want my untimely death on your hands? DO YOU?
The tale of their young love is so moving. Each was lost until finding the other. And I'm cringing, just knowing that whatever kept Noah from Reid, it wasn't by choice - and it was probably very, very bad. Poor boys!
SERIOUSLY. You can't write something this good and leave us hanging for another 18 months. WE WILL ALL DIE. YOU WILL BE A MASS MURDERER. That's a terrible example to set for your kids.

You always know the perfect thing to say.
I totally agree with you about Reid and Noah's shared childhood pain; that recognition would so draw them together.
