Posted on forum last night

Hiya!!

I've just come back online after rehearsing with the band since five but I got a call off Ruth thankfully in between songs so I heard it!!

Simon's still got fluttery eyes and had hiccups, bless him!

Down to 50% oxygen and had a CT scan so they're waiting for the results tomorrow. Ruth's Mum confident to go to her ( Read more... )

What the heck happened to him? I never go on there now, but remember him from back in the day.

Saz, thank you ever so much for keeping folk updated here as well!

Chrissi, he had a brain tumour about the size of a plum which was operated on last week. It went well but his lungs were refusing to absorb any oxygen, and he scared us all. He was in ICU for a week and is now in HDU so fingers crossed his recovery will continue to be as unbelievably fast.

I'll do an open update shortly. x

No problem Ruth. I knew that a lot of people who know and love Simon dont go on the forum much now if at all and would want to know what was going on. The forum is not very easy to navigate at present so it is easy to miss stuff. So happy he is on the mend and seems to be getting back to his old self. I had a little cry when heard the good news.
