You definitely should. And Checkers. I've read Checkers about 5 times and it still makes me cry every time.

Yes! Someone else who liked it! The people I went with were all pretty 'meh' about it. But I loved it too!

Now I really don't know whether to see it or not. I always had this terrible hunch that it would be Home & Away with guns.

And I loved Chris's character in the book. I thought he was so complex, this quiet guy who hid his problems really well and nobody saw what would happen.

If they've turned him into some kind of comic-relief hippie, I'll cry :(
