Short post to ask the Doctor Who fans on my list if they can recommend to me the good fandom places for the show? Particularly focused on the Eleventh Doctor era? Please, please, please?

(I've heard there can be some horrible character bashing in various places, particularly in response to Amy and I would prefer to avoid that.)

I haven't really even attempted to look at what the fandom is like yet because I'm scared. I've just heard that people hate on Amy for wearing shorts skirts and having been a kissogram and a whole lot of other sexist stuff.

There must be a good fandom place somewhere.
