Japanese is well-known for its Kanji one-character word system, but as you might or might know, they also have three phonetic systems (katakana[for foreign words], romaji [english letters], and hiragana [for teaching japanese to children]). I wonder if moving characters in the middle of the word would also work in their system for the japanese general public.

e.g. in romaji: WATASHI (Me) - read as Wa-Ta-Shi
