I enjoyed the trip to Sterling also. I especially enjoyed the food. Sarah's mom really IS a good cook.

She makes good minestrone... jenflint November 9 2004, 12:52:06 UTC
SO...for anyone not travis, sarah or sarah's dad reading this...the first time i went to sterling wiht sarah, her mom made minestrone soup (really good minestrone).... but what was funny about it was that when i went back a few months later, we had minestrone AGAIN, and sarah claimed that she had never had minestrone with her parents before those two times.... The next time i went she made lasagna though, but for a while i thought maybe she could only make minestrone. So anyway, i concur with Travis, Sarah's mom is indeed a good cook, at least where minestrone and lasagna are concerned.

Ps. i hear sarah and travis had minestrone in sterling for lunch on saturday...

this is Sarah's mom--I'm using John's journal to make a small correction: it was Beef Vegetable Soup, not Minestrone. It would have to have beans in it to be minestrone and my beef vegetable has no beans. Thanks for the accolades, though!
PS I can make more than beef vegetable soup and lasagna.

Sarah's mom needs her own journal!!!! I'd love to read your stuff. Both you and John are great writers and need to write. And I'd love to go again to your home and eat (you don't have to do soup or lasanga, but I like both!). Just to be with you again.
