Well, the ideal short story would obviously be a crossover between Unspoken, Team Human, and The Demon's Lexicon. I'm not sure if the world is ready for that amount of awesome though. My bookshelf can barely handle housing all of the books together so that they occupy the same space and time in the real world.

Except I haven't gotten to read the newer books yet, and so I've been trying to avoid the shorts in fear of possible spoilage! Hence my vote for a parody.

Also, I want ALL the parodies. But I'm a grownup, and grownups accept that we can't always have ALL the things we want.

Two short stories in the anthologies The Eternal Kiss and Enthralled. ;) And yes, alas, all the parodies are quite beyond my power, unless I am kidnapped by a kind person who will keep me in food and clothing and electricity in return for parodies... and even then I'd probably complain about wanting to write my books...
