R.L. Stine is a real person?! I thought he was like... A syndicate?! That is what my Dad told me disparagingly when I was obsessing over Goosebumps. This is the coolest news ever! Got to go rub my dad's nose in it right now!

That reminds me of the time that I sent this ridiculous, fangirly e-mail to R.L. Stine about how crucial his Goosebumps and Fear Street books were to my literary development, haha. He responded and told me that he was honored by the e-mail and he signed it Bob. I might have shed a tear over it. (I might also have the response e-mail printed, framed, and hanging on my wall near the bookshelves...)
