My staff wanted to take some time off around Christmas, so I worked and took a couple of days off around New Year’s. It meant I had almost a full week off - in a row! Spouse and I stayed mostly in the house (I stayed COMPLETELY in the house) and didn’t really interact with anyone else - very few phone calls. For me, it was PERFECT.

A _lot_ of solo travel time. I miss the view-from-the-office pictures you used to post.

I kind of miss the views but the ability to affect change makes up for it. ;)
