“Merlin’s bollocks!” Scorpius exclaimed as he stumbled back on his foot. “Where in Circe’s name are we, Weasley?”

Rose Weasley looked around and groaned. “Malfoy,” she said solemnly, “welcome to Muggle London.”

Scorpius let out a string of expletives that turned the heads of a few passer-bys. “How the hell do we get back?”

“There’s an entrance back to Wizarding London that I know of,” she paused and surveyed the roads around her, “It’s about 20 miles away.”

“Well, I’m not walking,” Scorpius informed her haughtily.

She snorted. “I don’t suppose you have any Muggle currency on you, do you?”

He glared at her. “Well I’m not the halfblood here.”

Rose glared back. “I hate you.”

“Oh the feeling’s mutual, I assure you,” he sneered. He glanced at his watch. “We need to be back in an hour. How the hell are we getting back?”

“We hitch a ride,” she said resolutely. “Look for a car with a lecherous driver.”

Scorpius raised his eyes in suspicion, but kept his mouth shut and did as she asked. He’d long since understood that whereas the fiery Slytherin’s methods were bizarre, she had the strangest abilities to get herself out of sticky situations. Fast.

“Shifty eyes,” he murmured, “big guy, needs to shave. And to lose weight. Desperately,” he turned to her with an eyebrow raised, cocking his head slightly to the left to indicate the location of the car, “Interested?”

Rose turned to the direction that Scorpius gestured. “Perfect,” she purred, “Now, Malfoy, watch and learn. You’ll never know when you’ll be stuck in Muggle London again.”

He glared at her as she walked towards the silver car, an extra sway in her hips. The driver, looking almost as though he’d struck gold, rolled down the windows enthusiastically as Rose approached. Scorpius watched as she gestured wildly to the man and him nodding at her words, appearing for all intents and purposes to be listening attentively to Rose.

Scorpius almost snorted. The man was probably much more interested in scoring a goal with her.

When Rose suddenly pointed over to him, Scorpius could do nothing but to glare at the man. The driver’s eyes narrowed and Scorpius could feel a smirk sliding onto his face as Rose rolled her eyes at him.

What the man said to Rose next Scorpius would never know, but he watched in fascinated horror as she lifted her blouse up, flashing the man.

"Why didn't you take off all your clothes? You could have stopped forty cars," Scorpius bit off as the car dropped them off at a quaint little bar that Rose had given the directions to.

She snorted. "Well, I'll remember that when we need forty cars."

“Sarcasm doesn’t suit you, Weasley.”

Her eyes narrowed into slits. “Well, you don’t do jealousy justice too, so we’re even, Malfoy.”

“You’re mine,” he said hotly, “You don’t go ‘round flashing other guys!”

“It got us back, didn’t it?”

“That’s beside the point!”

“That’s exactly the point!” she huffed. “I thought we weren’t together anymore.”

“We weren’t then,” he muttered angrily before pulling her close to him, “We are now.”

And then he silenced her with a kiss.
