PT Scan Results

I had a pt scan on Tuesday, and it was not one of the better days of my life.  The tech had to stick me four times to get a vein to inject the radioactive tracer.  Including one in my wrist, which hurt like the blazes.  Ugh.  We were a half hour finding a vein.

Oh Sara, I am so, so sorry. Don't give up hope, though. My father survived twice as long as they expected him to, and I have a friend who's mother went *years* beyond her prognosis, and is *still* going strong. I will continue to send up positive thoughts and white light for you each night, as I've done every night since you announced this.

Oh damn. Big mouth here is nearly speechless for once. Sara, I'm NOT READY to lose you out of my world, your world, any world. I think I knew this before you posted - I've had the weeps for two days without knowing the reason. Now I do. My heart goes out to you and Bill. I WILL make a better effort to get over there too. If we don't have a lifetime for our long distance friendship then we'd better make hay with whatever's left!! I wish I could get you over here somehow too. Love and bear-hugs to both of you. My niece Barb is undergoing treatment for a tumor in her armpit and one under her breast right now. It's going very well for her. I was hoping that her good prognosis would spread out ripples into the world.
