you did a great job at camp sarah, i was proud of you. cliches are cliches for a reasn, they always find another way to apply themselves. i was glad you were there. jamie. p.s. who said that quote? i forgot but i know it was a touching moment.

Thanks, Jamie. It was a great experience and I'm glad I got to share it with you. I was proud of you too, but I knew you had it in you all along. I admire your compassion and how you apply it to everything you do and everyone around you. I wish I could be like that.

I think it was Randy who said it.

Something else I wanted to add to this post...

Not only do counselors build an inexplicable bond with his or her camper, but we build bonds and rebuilt bonds among one another. This experience made me remember why I used to be such great friends with Matt and Jamie and helped me to steady our once shaky friendships.

I'm proud of you too, Sarah. I already knew you were a compassionate person, thats why I called you those specific times when I had no idea what to do. I know I wasn't at camp rec, but I saw how much it touched you at the service class. I'm so glad that you had that experience, and I am so jealous that you are in Europe.

Love, Mandy
