My secretary called in late this morning because there was a baby opossum in her computer desk.

Y'gotta admit, though, it's original. I would, however, demand photographic evidence. :)

Nope; I've done some swatching, and it definitely wants to be something fine gauge, probably on 1s or 2s, so definitely a long-term project. I'm kind of thinking twinset, actually; there's enough yarn there for that. I weighed it -- I've got an entire kilogram of the stuff. I need to do some texture swatching and see if lace or cables would make a decent showing.

So what was her attitude about this baby 'possum? That is, was she calling the exterminator or just perishing of Teh Cute?

Apparently they're not so very cute when they're hissing viciously at you. But when she finished completely freaking out, she chased it out of the desk and out of the house with a broom (you want a bit of distance, because they bite like demons), and back into the woods around her house, from whence it likely came.
