So we had another Hartz kittie in the clinic this week.   This is my third experience with cat reactions to Hartz flea produces, however I have had many people call me with this problem.  These cases make everyone in the vet industry mad.  Most of the time is is the owner's not putting the right product on their animal, but last year we had a cat

Okay, this scared me to death. I have used those products on Ming, Mao, and Mooshy:( I have to scroll past this entry really quickly if Terryn is around, it makes her scrunch up her little face all sad-like.

I think what happens is people use too much product for the weight of their cat. Its easy to overdose as most people don't weigh their pets before buying the product and they just guess. If I didn't work in a clinic with a big dog scale, I would have no idea how much my dog weighed. 18.4lbs by the way. Yes I have an 18 lb pom!! I'm sorry I made Terryns face go all scrunchy sad...in the future I will try to post some happier pictures!

DAMN....that is CRAZY!!! I'm tempted to repost this to my own journal....would that be okay with you? it's scary to think that people can march into any store and purchase something that would do this to their little fur babies :(
