Last Thursday evening a Rottweiler was brought to the clinic.  He had been hit by a car and wouldnt put any weight on his right hind leg.  We hooked the dog up to IV fluids and gave him some pain control.  The owners had not money with them and told us they would come back the next morning to pay for xrays which run about $120.  Nobody showed the

Awwww, he sounds fantastic. It does suck that his "parents" had no money, but I can relate. I am scared to death something will happen to one of the cats, because there is no way we could afford a vet bill:(

Have you seen the dog with no front legs that can hop on her hid legs to get around? She was on Oprah and my heart melted.

I feel bad for this guy too, he was so upset about his dog. I can understand how he feels, it costs a lot of money to take care of something like that. Every time I see someones surgery bill I'm astonished, we discount things all the time and I'm still shocked at the bills. I"m glad I work in a clinic though, if something happened to my dog I wouldn't be able to afford treatment either. I saw that dog on Oprah. I couldn't believe it, he is pretty cool.
