I miss the positive feeling of certainty that came with knowing someone liked you. I miss that eager attentiveness, and the way his lips were attracted to mine, as if we were magnetized. I miss the feeling of hope and excitement that came that new attraction. I also miss the way I felt happy and wanted, as opposed to a dull, needy, clingy being. I

It's not just you. I am the same way... I find interacting with new people hard, especially if I find them interesting or attractive- then I just clam up. I think I've lost the courageous thing too. Eating alone is a big part of my repetoire too.
