Summary : Donghae and Eunhyuk has been going out with each other for 2 years. Donghae's love has remained the same for 2 years... but how about Eunhyuk's?
Donghae and Eunhyuk have been going out with each other for 2 years. Even though they have been going out for 2 years, Eunhyuk’s love for Donghae have been becoming less and less. What Eunhyuk and Donghae doesn’t know, is that another person is yearning for Eunhyuk’s love.
“Eunhyuk! Good morning” Sungmin said cheerfully. “Good morning” Eunhyuk replied. Donghae soon came into the kitchen with a sleepy face and kissed Eunhyuk’s cheek. “Good morning” Donghae said with a smile. Eunhyuk smiled back and greeted him the same way. They didn’t know that there was someone burning with jealousy in the corner.
Knock Knock! “Come in” Eeteuk said, in his angelic voice. “Eeteuk-hyung…” Sungmin greeted him with a sad smile. “What’s wrong Sungmin-ah? Tell umma about it” Eeteuk said in his motherly voice. Sungmin walked in quietly. He looked around and saw no one was in the room except for Eeteuk. “Now, come tell me what’s going on” Eeteuk said, reaching out a hand for Sungmin.
“I’m… in love…” Sungmin said to Eeteuk. “That’s good! You’re finally in love. Who’s the lucky girl?” Eeteuk asked. Sungmin looked down. “It’s not a girl” Sungmin said softly. Eeteuk looked at Sungmin. “Oh? Who’s the lucky guy then? It can’t be an alien right?” Eeteuk joked, but stopped when he saw Sungmin not showing any reaction.
“It’s an unrequited love. He has a boyfriend” Sungmin said with a sad smile, tears almost coming out. Eeteuk looked at Sungmin like how a mother looked at her loving child. “You can always try right? Now, who’s the boy?” Eeteuk asked again. Sungmin, showing no response, Eeteuk decided to ask again. “Is it someone I know?” Eeteuk asked. Sungmin looked up and nodded.
“Does he live in this dorm as well?” Eeteuk asked again. Sungmin shook his head. “The dorm below us” Sungmin answered softly. “That narrows down to Kyuhyun, Yesung, Ryeowook and Eunhyuk” Eeteuk said, cancelling off the other members which lived on the same floor as he is.
“I doubt it’s Kyuhyun since he doesn’t have a boyfriend. So it’s either Yesung, Ryeowook or Eunhyuk” Eeteuk said, trying to sound smart. “Give me a clue” Eeteuk said again. Sungmin looked up. “He’s… an amazing dancer…” Sungmin said. Eeteuk immediately knew who it was. Eeteuk looked at Sungmin with a soft smile. Sungmin who started crying, after 2 minutes, was hugged by Eeteuk.
An hour after Sungmin had left, there was another knock on the door. “Come in~” Eeteuk said in his angelic voice as always. Eunhyuk came in. “Ah yes, what is it Eunhyuk?” Eeteuk said, looking at Eunhyuk. “Eeteuk-hyung, do you know what’s wrong with Sungmin? Everytime I want to talk to him, he runs away from me!” Eunhyuk said in worry.
Eeteuk smiled at Eunhyuk. “Eunhyuk-ah… have you ever loved someone close to you before?” Eeteuk asked Eunhyuk. “Donghae” Eunhyuk answered. “How did it feel like when you just fell in love with him. What was your reaction towards him before you two were together?” Eeteuk asked again. Eunhyuk thought about it. “He was the person I always wanted to see, in my dreams, or in real life. I would be very happy when I could see him, but I would always run… away…” Eunhyuk then found out Sungmin’s secret.
Eunhyuk looked up at Eeteuk. Eeteuk nodded with a gentle smile. Eunhyuk, being the gentle person he is, started letting tears swell up on his eyes. Before they could stream down, he wiped it off. He looked up at the wall with eyes opened, and thought for a while. “Eeteuk-hyung…” Eunhyuk began. “I don’t think I can help you anymore with this problem” Eeteuk said to Eunhyuk.
“What do I do?” Eunhyuk asked again. “It’s all up to you” Eeteuk replied back. Eunhyuk respected what Eeteuk always said and nodded and left.
That night, at the bottom dorm, there were 2 people missing from the dinner table. Being in the bottom dorm, the singers who lived down there knew what was going on. Not because they were told, but they were quiet and studied their dorm members thoroughly. Kyuhyun, Yesung and Ryeowook sighed. “I hate this” Ryeowook said.
There was a knock on their dorm’s door. Kyuhyun went to open it. “Hi” Eeteuk said, and immediately took off his shoes and walked in. “Eeteuk-hyung…” Yesung and Ryeowook said at the same time when they saw Eeteuk walk in. “How are they?” Eeteuk asked. All three looked down in disappointment. Eeteuk sighed.
“Give them one day or two, they’ll figure it out soon” Eeteuk said to the three of them. After that, he left the three of them, well, five. At around 3am in the morning, Sungmin got hungry. He decided to go out to get something to eat. He opened the fridge and took out 2 eggs to cook for himself.
Eunhyuk, too, was hungry. He went to the kitchen to find something to eat. His eyes caught the person he didn’t want to see. Sungmin. Sungmin turned around. Things became awkward when they just started staring at each other. Eunhyuk then began to speak up. “Umm… hi…” he said. ‘Yes, nice start Eunhyuk. So normal!’ Eunhyuk thought to himself.
“H-hi… want… egg?” Sungmin choked on his words. Eunhyuk looked behind Sungmin at the frying pan. “Umm… sure…” Eunhyuk said. Sungmin then took out another egg to cook for Eunhyuk. They ate their early breakfast in silence.
What they didn’t know, is that upstairs, there were people watching their every move. “Gah! Why aren’t they saying anything?!” Heechul shouted. “Shhh!! Quiet!” Hankyung shouted back. Donghae came out of his room since he heard a racket going on in the living room. Everyone gulped and immediately switched the screen off. “What’s going on?” Donghae asked when he saw everyone staring at him.
“Nothing… just… talking…” Heechul stuttered. “At 3am in the morning?” Donghae asked, half asleep. “Umm…” Hankyung didn’t know what to say now. Donghae walked towards them and looked at the screen in front of them. He saw the light on and knew that the computer was on. He pressed the on button for the screen and gasped at what he saw.
“Why are you guys looking at the both of them…” Donghae said, turning behind to question them face-to-face. “What’s going on?” Donghae asked again, louder this time. He turned back at the monitor and saw that Sungmin and Eunhyuk were awkward together. Weren’t they best friends? Something was wrong there!
Donghae immediately got up and stormed to the bottom dorm. Everyone looked at each other with worried eyes. “Well, this was going to happen anyways” Eeteuk said, shrugging it off. Sungmin and Eunhyuk heard a knock on the door. Eunhyuk went to open the door. “Oh, Donghae? What are you doing here?” Eunhyuk asked. Donghae didn’t answer and stormed in.
He walked towards Sungmin and grabbed him by the shirt. Sungmin was shocked. Eunhyuk immediately ran towards Donghae and pulled him back. “What are you doing?! Let go off him!!” Eunhyuk shouted in fear. “Oh! Now you’re protecting him?!” Donghae shouted at Eunhyuk. “What are you talking about?! Stop it Donghae!!” Eunhyuk shouted back at Donghae.
“So? Tell me Sungmin. When were you going to tell him? And Eunhyuk, when were you going to accept him… huh?... HUH?!” Donghae spat at the both of them. Eunhyuk was scared now. He tried to calm Donghae down but it was no use. Sungmin was getting angrier and angrier by the second and immediately shouted at Donghae.
“FINE!! I ADMIT IT!!” Sungmin shouted. All eyes turned to him. “I’m in love with Eunhyuk! But you know what?! I was in love with him before both of you even fell in love with each other!! So what does that make me?!” Sungmin shouted at Donghae. Eunhyuk, who knew Sungmin was in love with him, was still shocked. Donghae just stared at Sungmin in disbelief.
“Sungmin…” Eunhyuk was speechless. Sungmin looked at Eunhyuk and walked towards him. Donghae just looked at Sungmin walking towards Eunhyuk. Sungmin pulled Eunhyuk towards himself and crashed his lips onto his. Eunhyuk’s eyes widened, and so did Donghae’s. The members who were upstairs watching, gasped at the sudden move made by Sungmin.
Sungmin let go off Eunhyuk and tears came streaming out of his eyes. “I’ve always watched Eunhyuk! Always watched him… from the day he came to me and said that you confessed to him, to the days when I saw both of you cuddle up to each other…” Sungmin said softly. “I WATCHED IT ALL!!! And… it hurts… so much…” Sungmin shouted. He couldn’t stop crying right now.
Donghae and Eunhyuk watched Sungmin break down in tears. Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung, who were watching the 3 from their room, immediately rushed outside. Ryeowook rushed to Sungmin, while Yesung rushed to Donghae and Kyuhyun to Eunhyuk. Donghae swatted Yesung off him and walked towards Eunhyuk. “We need to talk” was the last thing he said before dragging Eunhyuk outside.
Sungmin broke down in tears and hugged his legs. All 3 went to him to calm him down, whispering lines of calmness to him. “All I did was love… but it became like this… why?” Sungmin said softly. Yesung patted Sungmin gently. The members upstairs rushed down to spy on Kyuhyun and Eunhyuk, to see whether any fighting would go on and stop them before it happens.
“So…” Donghae started. Eunhyuk looked down. “This is the end?” Donghae asked Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk just looked down, nowhere else. “Speak to me damn it!!” Donghae shouted and grabbed Eunhyuk by the shirt. Kangin and Heechul was going to rush over to stop them but Eeteuk stopped them. He shook his head meaning no.
“I’ve loved you for 2 years… is this goodbye?” Donghae said, softly this time, but his hand still grabbing onto Eunhyuk’s shirt. “I’m… sorry…” Eunhyuk whispered softly, only audible to Donghae. Donghae let go of Eunhyuk’s shirt softly. He then walked off to his dorm upstairs. While walking, he noticed the other members from his dorm behind the wall, but kept on walking.
All of them ran to Eunhyuk, who now had fainted. “Eunhyuk!!” “EUNHYUK!!” Those were the last words Eunhyuk heard before falling into total darkness.
The next day, Eunhyuk woke up with a slight pain in his head. He got up and saw all 11 members sleeping in the same room. Some on the sofa, some on the chair with head leaning onto Eunhyuk’s bed, and Sungmin, on the same bed as Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk brushed Sungmin’s hair off softly and smiled. Eeteuk woke up by the sudden movement of Eunhyuk’s. He smiled at Eunhyuk. “How are you feeling?” Eeteuk asked him. “What happened?” Eunhyuk asked back. “You fainted” Eeteuk explained. “Oh” was all that Eunhyuk replied.
Sungmin woke up from the talking going on and looked at Eunhyuk. “Eunhyuk…” Sungmin said softly. “Good morning. How are you?” Eunhyuk asked cheerfully. Sungmin, who found out Eunhyuk fainted, rushed towards Eunhyuk and cried litres of tears. Sungmin started crying on Eunhyuk’s shirt. Eunhyuk patted him and smiled.
“Let’s go eat breakfast. The other’s are tired. They were up until 8am worrying about you” Eeteuk explained to Eunhyuk. “And you?” Eunhyuk asked him. “I’m fine” Eeteuk explained. Eunhyuk got up and looked around. Yesung and Ryeowook were hugging each other in their sleep. Kangin was sleeping with his mouth opened. Shindong was drooling, probably because he was thinking about food again. Kyuhyun slept in the most mature position ever and Heechul started hitting Hankyung in his sleep. Kibum was sleeping in a sitting position.
Eunhyuk noticed Donghae wasn’t there and was worried about him. There was a knock on the door. “Hi” Donghae said, and came in. “How are you?” Donghae asked Eunhyuk, smiling a pleasant smile. Eunhyuk was relieved. “Fine” Eunhyuk replied with a sweet smile. “How are you feeling Sungmin?” Donghae asked Sungmin. Sungmin looked up at Donghae’s smiling face. “Fine” Sungmin replied with a sweet smile.
“Ahhh!! Sungmin!! The stove!!” Eunhyuk shouted when he saw the eggs were ‘smoking’. “Ahhhhhhh!!” Sungmin shouted. Both of them hurried to turn off the fire. They started laughing and giggling at each other and playing around. Donghae smiled a sad smile. “You ok?” Eeteuk asked Donghae. “My heard will heal eventually” Donghae replied.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Eeteuk and Donghae heard Ryeowook scream, followed by Yesung’s scream. Both of them immediately rushed out of the room. “Why were you hugging onto me?!” Yesung screamed at Ryeowok. “ME?! You were hugging onto ME!!!” Ryeowook shouted back. “Yah!! Shut the hell up!!” Kangin came out and shouted at them, angry for disturbing his sleep.
“YAH!! WHY WERE YOU HITTING ME?!?!?!” Hankyung’s shout was heard throughout the dorm. “How should I know!!! Probably because even in my sleep I know you are ugly!!!” Heechul shouted back. The two started arguing at each other. “Yah! Shindong!! Wake up!!” Kibum and Kyuhyun shouted at Shindong, who was still asleep.
The house was full of shoutings. Eeteuk, Eunhyuk, Sungmin and Donghae all giggled to themselves from the playfulness of their members. Sungmin looked up at Eunhyuk and smiled to him. Eunhyuk leaned down and kissed Sungmin. “I love you” Sungmin said. “I love you too” Eunhyuk replied.

Sungmin, who found out Eunhyuk fainted, rushed towards Eunhyuk and cried litres of tears. Sungmin started crying on Eunhyuk’s shirt. Eunhyuk patted him and smiled.
“Let’s go eat breakfast. The other’s are tired. They were up until 8am worrying about you” Eeteuk explained to Eunhyuk. “And you?” Eunhyuk asked him. “I’m fine” Eeteuk explained. Eunhyuk got up and looked around. Yesung and Ryeowook were hugging each other in their sleep. Kangin was sleeping with his mouth opened. Shindong was drooling, probably because he was thinking about food again. Kyuhyun slept in the most mature position ever and Heechul started hitting Hankyung in his sleep. Kibum was sleeping in a sitting position.
Eunhyuk noticed Donghae wasn’t there and was worried about him. There was a knock on the door. “Hi” Donghae said, and came in. “How are you?” Donghae asked Eunhyuk, smiling a pleasant smile. Eunhyuk was relieved. “Fine” Eunhyuk replied with a sweet smile. “How are you feeling Sungmin?” Donghae asked Sungmin. Sungmin looked up at Donghae’s smiling face. “Fine” Sungmin replied with a sweet smile.
“Ahhh!! Sungmin!! The stove!!” Eunhyuk shouted when he saw the eggs were ‘smoking’. “Ahhhhhhh!!” Sungmin shouted. Both of them hurried to turn off the fire. They started laughing and giggling at each other and playing around. Donghae smiled a sad smile. “You ok?” Eeteuk asked Donghae. “My heard will heal eventually” Donghae replied.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Eeteuk and Donghae heard Ryeowook scream, followed by Yesung’s scream. Both of them immediately rushed out of the room. “Why were you hugging onto me?!” Yesung screamed at Ryeowok. “ME?! You were hugging onto ME!!!” Ryeowook shouted back. “Yah!! Shut the hell up!!” Kangin came out and shouted at them, angry for disturbing his sleep.
“YAH!! WHY WERE YOU HITTING ME?!?!?!” Hankyung’s shout was heard throughout the dorm. “How should I know!!! Probably because even in my sleep I know you are ugly!!!” Heechul shouted back. The two started arguing at each other. “Yah! Shindong!! Wake up!!” Kibum and Kyuhyun shouted at Shindong, who was still asleep.
The house was full of shoutings. Eeteuk, Eunhyuk, Sungmin and Donghae all giggled to themselves from the playfulness of their members. Sungmin looked up at Eunhyuk and smiled to him. Eunhyuk leaned down and kissed Sungmin. “I love you” Sungmin said. “I love you too” Eunhyuk replied.
