Oo3. Blindfolds ft HanKyung and YeSung

I blinked once; I blinked twice. No matter how much I blinked, darkness was all I could see and then I heard Yesung’s voice.
“Will he be able to see again?”
“No.”

Walking with my arms wrapped around Yesung’s left arm, we made our way towards our apartment as Yesung had told me. Everywhere I went, I only saw darkness. I could hear the beautiful chirping of the birds, the sounds of the cars rolling by and people talking on either side but I couldn’t see anything.
“Hyung, watch out for steps now.”
Shakingly, I lifted up a leg and using it, felt around for the first step that I had encountered. One; two;three; four, I counted the steps that I climbed up. There were thirteen steps in all; thirteen steps, each for a member of Super Junior. Of course, that was the past. Super Junior split ages ago, many wanted to pursue another route in their careers. Yesung stayed with Hankyung because the doctor had diagnosed a serious disease in his eyes that caused him to go blind. The last thing HanKyung saw was the 13 members of his beloved band, smiling and crying at the same time.
Sadly, there was no way to reverse this disease as the doctor had told them so HanKyung was totally dependent on Yesung, who was there for him whenever he needed him.
“Hyung…what does it feel like to be unable to see?”
I was silent for a while, reaching out to feel around for the sofa to sit on which Yesung kindly led me to. Yesung, although kind and nice, was curious as well and sometimes would ask questions that would harm the person in a mental way, in other words, mentally.
“Have you ever put on a blindfold Yesung?”
“Yes, hyung.”
“Well…imagine you had the blindfold on for the rest of your life and you were unable to take it off at all. That is what it feels like.”
