I got up to this being handed to me by my dad! I had written to her last summer, just before Al died. I got this today in the mail along with a note talking about her foundation in Al's honor. That's awesome! I keep meaning to write her again. I did it last March or something, got no response, and then heard that her email wasn't working anymore. Now, I have heard that writing to the Grey's set does work too. I'm going to try it, but I'm a little afraid to, but it's for many different reasons.

Just be honest. I told her that she was an inspiration to girls and women everywhere and that I thought she had the most beautiful I'd ever heard. I had written nearly a two page letter. I can't remember most of what I said. I did tell her that I had been a fan before she was on Grey's. I just wrote to write to her, I never expected a response let alone a note from her.

mucho jealous.

i've never written anyone before...but sometimes i think about it but i never know what i would say. i'd probably sound like a rambling idiot, even in letter form! lol
