BBC Sherlock episode 2, The Blind Banker
Not as fun as the first one, but still enjoyable. Sarah was awesome. Too much ~ANCIENT CONFUCIAN WISDOM~ in the portrayals of the Chinese people though.
I wanted Watson to be a bit more useful. I mean, obviously in the division of labor Sherlock is the genius who's going to be figuring out the plot twists, but Watson is the soldier and he doesn't even limp anymore. Why is Sherlock the one handling all the fisticuffs? I thought this episode had a serious lack of ass-kicking Watson.
Also, again with the dumbing down of the plot twists. They're looking for a Chinese acrobat and Watson has to be convinced that the assassin might be undercover at a Chinese circus? That's just... dumb. It's like in the last episode where they couldn't guess "cab driver" even after it was abundantly obvious.
Anyway. Still liked it, just not as much as the first one.
