Gah, it's been eons since I've posted. I check my friendslist daily (hi, y'all! ::waves::), but have kept mostly mum in my own journal. Though there's a lot I could talk about--things going on in my life, world issues I care about, fannish matters, library concerns--I don't feel cut out to be a steady diarist or commentator ( Read more... )

The lay/lie thing is my bane. I don't understand why I always get mixed up with them, especially with the -ing form. I always have to check it. ^^; ...but at least I know it's a problem for me, so I do check it...

I hate mistakes like that in Finnish too. I love reading the Nemi comic, but that Finnish translator could be a lot better... I wonder if she translates it from English, as I often see English constructions and sayings in the text all too clearly.
