why all the hate?

i was so upset in ethics today that i thought i might cry. the close-mindedness and hatred of certain people makes me cringe. i do not understand some things. i do not understand why anyone would be opposed to gay marriage. "it might corrupt our children to see gay people walking around in public". what the fuck? it makes absolutely no sense to me
