I know it's only for a few hours, but just look at the Premiership table.

Chelsea two points clear, 3 ahead of Arsenal, with United at the bottom!!

I know United are currently beating Narrrrich, and the Arse play tomorrow, or whenever, but let me live the dream for just a few hours.

Edit: well it was just how I described but then they went and ( Read more... )

Not at all.

I was a fan back when we were relegated to the old second division in the 80's.

I feel like I've waited long enough for something like this to happen.

So what if we buy in the best players.
Isn't that what they are there for?
Besides, we have home grown talent too.

We get our fair share of glory hunters, but nowhere near as many as your team do.

It's funny how we have become even more hated thanks to Roman Abromavich.

I love that man.

But I loved Chelsea before he came along.
And I'll love us even more when we lift that Premiership trophy.

I will love Roman when Vladamir does him in, abandoning chelsea with 126 players earning 80k per week.

So strange seeing Mario, wearing blue, making fantastic tackles....but not for us. I had a genuine worry over the Birmingham game. They've strengthened their squad with 4 good to excellent players - and 3 of them have played for us at some point in their careers (or at least Izzet was on our books, I don't think we ever actually played him), and steve Bruce has done a complete turnaround job over the past couple of years.

It annoys me how pundits have been denegrating our style of play over these 2 matches so far. Yes, I admit it would be great to win AND see entertaining football, but right now it's important we establish ourselves at the top of the table with as many 3-pointers as possible, and I don't care how we achieve that. There's plenty of time for the fancy stuff later.
