Alright Crazy Dave, I am attempting to make a CD for you at the moment, with bits of old soul and mod stuff and whatnot. I have rediscovered the genius of Chris Farlowe in the process, so thank you. I was thinking of adding "Hang On Sloopy", but do you already have it?
I've discovered an ace song by Ann-Margret who used to cop off with Elvis, the lucky bitch, called "Thirteen Men And Me", which is about a dream she supposedly had, where a nuclear bomb had gone off and she was the only woman still alive. It goes "there were two men every morning/seeing that I was well fed/And believe you me one sweetened my tea while the other one buttered my bread". I think it's supposed to be filthy, in an early 60s coy way, but I'm not sure what it means. Anyway, the rest will be a load of old toss.
It was actually in 1999, Chelsea at home to United. 0-0. I went to every home game for the next 3 seasons after that. It's funny that since Abramovich/Mourihno, I have only seen about 4 games, but that's cos I moved to the US. When I come back, I plan on getting a membership again and going to more games, unless my boss wants to buy me a season ticket as a leaving present.

And yes, I do own 'Hang On Sloopy', but on vinyl, so you can put it on if you like.
Thanks, btw.
I look forward to listening to it.
