I had this thought while driving to work:

The fundamentals are still the same. I just forget to think about them except as afterthoughts.

Living well is defined by my:
HEALTH
WEALTH
HAPPINESS

I generally count wealth as a tool to to gain (or maintain) the other two.

Basically, Wealth won't make you happy; but lack thereof would make you *unhappy*, and probably *un* healthy.

Actually, happiness is a state of mind. It's been found that you can cultivate happiness by properly meditating. I'm not entirely sure how they measured happiness in the article I read but it made enough sense that I believed the article was correct. I linked to the article in an earlier post.

That said, health, wealth, and happiness are interrelated. They are a basic way to organize and prioritize things in life. That is, understanding that health, wealth, and happiness are important lets me assign value to things and activities. Answering the question, "How does doing 'X' effect my health, wealth, and happiness?" gives me a way to measure the impact of something to my life.
